L is for Lime

Do you want a tasty drink? Well, simply get some sparkling water (I love Voss, Pelligreeno, Perrier and Saratoga the best), and squirt some lime juice in it! Delish!

Another thing you can do, is make some yummy Limeade. Same as Lemonade, but with limes!

Lastly, another delish trick is to put lime juice in juices like cranberry! A great mix is cranberry lime juice!

Looking for a fun activity? We recommend a fun DIY, like making your own clutch!
Here are the materials that you need:
A Plastic Pencil Case
Stretch Fabric
Black Ribbon
White Thread
A Needle (And a parent/guardian/friend or some sewing lessons if you know you do more harm than good with a needle.

Step 1: Sew stretch fabric onto the pencil case all around and stop at the zipper.
Step 2: Stuff the bottom of the soon to be clutch, and sew over it to give the illusion of fullness. Step 3: Sew on ribbon all around.
Step 4:Tie a bow and sew it on to the black ribbon the side.

The finishing result?
Super cute!

*TIP: Use different color tread, fabric and ribbon for a look thats unique!

Decorate your bedroom like Massie Block!

Ever read the famous Clique Books? (They are a must!!!) Massie Block is the alpha of her clique, The Pretty Committee. She is a total style icon. She's fashionable, strong, independent and witty.

Well, in book number 1, The Clique, Massie's room is described as "Everything in her room was white: the leather chaise by the way window, the sheepskin rug, the painted brick walls, the dozen fresh tulips, and her flat-screen Mac. Her friends called it the iPad. She'd designed it that way after she stayed in the presidential suite at the Mondrian in Los Angeles. The only color in the enormous hotel room had come from the decorative green apple in the middle of the white marble coffee table. She loved how crisp and orderly everything looked. [So Massie lovers, the first step to her room is investing in a white chaise and sheepskin rug (Ikea.com). Next, get together with a friend and paint your walls white (The home depot). Finally, buy white tulip and a decorative fake green apple (potterybarn.com). A Mac computer is a splurge, so put it on your wish list!] she'd read in a British gossip magazine that purple was the official color of royalty, which explained the brand new mauve Calvin sheets on her bed. [So next make a stop at for some fabulous purple sheets and accent work (target.com)].'Where did you get that cool mannequin?' Claire asked. She was refferring to the headless figure that stood on a metal stand by Massie's closet. [A mannequin (or massiequin!) in a smart thing to invest in! Now in the morning you don't have to change your clothes a million times; you mannequin will do it for you (onlymannequin.com)!] The corkboard that hung above Massie's desk had tons of pics of her and the pretty committee, so get one for your room and at pics of you and your bestfriends (Ikea.com). "Massie slid open one of her closet doors and Claire saw at least fifty pairs of shoes tucked away in different cubbyholes." Massie's closet is amazing, and is said to look like Bergdorf's! so organize your closet, so you too can have a Massie worthy closet! Organize your shoes into hanging shoe dividers, so each one gets its own personally space. Organize your clothes in the order of when you bought them. Finally connect a boa to your light switch, so every time you pull on it, a light goes on or off. and VIOLA. Massie would be impressed!

Tech Obsession of the Week: M is for Mail

Hey girlies!

Many of us have Macs, and therefore Mail. If you have a PC, you might have some kind of e-mail, I am sure. On Leopard, Mail is extremely easy to set up. You type in your password and your e-mail address, and the rest your computer does. If you have Tiger, its a bit more difficult.

Anyway, Mail saves my life. It can list To Dos, RSS Feeds, Notes and e-mails. Its easy to save mail into organized folders, flag and save mail, and to reply to mail with cool fonts, colors and stationary.

My RSS Feeds keep me up to date on blogs (Lisi Harrison's Blah-G), and Apple updates. With Mail, my e-mails are organized, and everything is easy to use.

So, if you have a Mac, and if you have Leopard, spend a few extra minutes setting up Mail. Trust me, its worth it.
